The Prophetic Way of Calling Upon Allah | Daily Reminders
The COVID-19 outbreak has shown us how vulnerable we are and our need of a higher power. Sh. Tahir Wyatt describes a du’a we can make for divine protection and the best time to offer the supplication.
Allahumma fatiras-samawati wal-ardi, ‘alimal-ghaibi wash-shahadati, Ash- hadu an la ilaha illa Anta Rabba kulli shai’in wa malikahu, a’udhu bika min sharri nafsi, wa sharrish- Shaitani wa shirkihi wa-an ak’tarifa ‘ala nafsi soo-an aw ajurrahu ilaa muslim.
O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of the hidden and the exposed! I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but You. Lord of everything and every one. I seek Your Protection from the evil of my own self from the evil of Satan and from the evil of Shirk to which he calls. And from committing wrong against my soul or bringing such upon another Muslim.
