Sh. Ammar Khatib is a scholar of the Qur'anic sciences and specialist in Arabic linguistics. He has written many treatises on matters related to qira’at and the Qur'anic text, and has collaborated closely with Dr. Ghanim Qaduri al-Hamad, one of the foremost specialists in Qur'anic studies in the Muslim world. He is a consultant for the Manitoba Islamic Association Fiqh Committee.
